The Cockney Poirate's blogInvestigations lined up so far for 2010 (further ones will be confirmed at a later date):- Date Location 30/01/10 - Bolebroke Castle 5/03/10 - Explosions It was Tea & Cakes tonight, and a very enjoyable, and probably coincidental one, it was too! Tonight was 'Tea & Cakes'; I had a very relaxing meditation even if it were short! One thing that really irritates me as a paranormal investigator, when you are trying to find locations to investigate, is that you make enquiries only to find places charge the earth just to get in! Now, I understand that ever since Most Haunted hit our TV screens a few years ago, there has been a plethora of investigation groups all wanting a slice of the action, and therefore the locations 'cash in' on the back of this (supply and demand). A ghost of a man dressed in black and wearing a cloak has been seen doing the rounds at the Royal Hospital, Derby. The apparition, who some claim is the ghost of a Roman soldier, has been seen by some of the staff members at the hospital walking the corridors and wards near the morgue, and has even been seen to go through walls! On Saturday, I had the opportunity to investigate Monks Walk, Hampshire again. The investigation started around 9pm with a talk from the current owner in the main hall for the new recruits. As I had previously heard the talk, I went into the back room in the main hall to check on the monitors recording for any activity. A list of investigations completed and due to take part in for 2009 (so far); will be updated as more investigations are pencilled in :) Date Location 31/01/09 Monks Walk Last week saw my first circle in months. Unfortunately due to various reasons, I've not been able to hold circles but it was nice to get them back on track last week. Tonight was the second circle held in 2 weeks and again I didn't put a foot wrong! Saturday night I has the opportunity to investigate Monks Walk again. I visited the location a couple of weeks ago but that was just for the evening. This time, this was an overnighter and I was really looking forward to it. The buildings are very small of which one area dates back to the Crimean War and another back to the end of WWI (1918). |
