Ghost InvestigationsLast year one evening, I experienced a once in a lifetime opportunity to investigate a location with one of my investigating groups I work with. The location was a closed down hospital and I have always wanted to do one of these; unfortunately we were unable to stay there overnight but the few hours we did have, certainly was a very interesting experience! Investigations lined up so far for 2010 (further ones will be confirmed at a later date):- Date Location 30/01/10 - Bolebroke Castle 5/03/10 - Explosions
We beleive in ghosts do you? tell me what you think we have seen many strange things. One thing that really irritates me as a paranormal investigator, when you are trying to find locations to investigate, is that you make enquiries only to find places charge the earth just to get in! Now, I understand that ever since Most Haunted hit our TV screens a few years ago, there has been a plethora of investigation groups all wanting a slice of the action, and therefore the locations 'cash in' on the back of this (supply and demand).
On Saturday, I had the opportunity to investigate Monks Walk, Hampshire again. The investigation started around 9pm with a talk from the current owner in the main hall for the new recruits. As I had previously heard the talk, I went into the back room in the main hall to check on the monitors recording for any activity.
A list of investigations completed and due to take part in for 2009 (so far); will be updated as more investigations are pencilled in :) Date Location 31/01/09 Monks Walk hello i like x factor and big brother i like all the best music in the charts my favourite artists are micheal jackson, leona lewis, shane ward, chris brown, take that, westlife im 16 and go to colledge Yesterday I had the opportunity to investigate Fort Widley in Portsmouth and it was a very enjoyable investigation! The Fort is situated at the top of Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth and dates back to 1861 when construction started as part of Portsmouth defence. The Fort continued to be armed until 1907 but it remained in military hands until 1939; it was used for various things during the Second World War. Portsmouth City Council have owned the Fort since 1972. Saturday night I has the opportunity to investigate Monks Walk again. I visited the location a couple of weeks ago but that was just for the evening. This time, this was an overnighter and I was really looking forward to it. The buildings are very small of which one area dates back to the Crimean War and another back to the end of WWI (1918). |
