Harry Potter and Ron are desperate to discover who the heir of Slytherin is and what the monster is in the chamber that they are using to attack the students when Hermione is attacked.

They are given advice to follow the spiders that are fleeing the castle and find themselves in the forbidden forest and are captured by giant spiders and brought to their home in the heart of the forest where they live in a glade. They escape and things turn desperate. A few days later when Ron's little sister Ginny is taken into the chamber itself by the monster which turns out to be a basilisk a giant snake. Harry and Ron and Lockhart ( who is forced to go with them) find the entrance to the chamber in moaning myrtles bathroom in the form of a giant pipe hidden behind a sink that can only be opened in snake language.

In the chamber lockharts attack on them backfires sending rocks crashing down below seperating harry and ron. Harry goes on to the chamber to rescue Ginny from the evil inside it and only just escapes with his life. He finds out that tom riddle (lord Voldemort) was conrtoling ginny through the use of a diary she found and she was the one who had been attacking everyone because of him and he had brought her down into the chamber as bait for harry who he knew would come.

At the end of the story harry rescues Ginny kills the monster and wipes Riddles memory out of the diary forever. The petrified victims go back to their normal healthy selfs as do Ginny and Harry.

I would say the movie would be great but there would be some flaws in the movie, just as there is in the Movie, "The Sorcerers Stone". I want to see the part where Harry goes into Tom Riddle's mind. That is all the comments that I have on The Chamber of Secrets.
