Born in 1922 David entered films and television in the 1950's. His small-screen work included appearances in The Flying Doctor..Riptide..Shannon's Mob..The Outsiders..Dear Ladies and in 1983 ABC's series Scales Of Justice, his last television role before dying in Australia in 1984..

His roles in the Carry Ons were 7th storeman in Sergeant and Andrew Newman in Nurse..

Rumour has it that David Walliams (of Little Britain fame) had to change his name because there was already a David Williams registered in equity... ???
