Hercule Poirot in The Mystery of the Blue TrainITV1 is showing the two hour The Mystery of the Blue Train starring David Suchet as Hercule Poirot. The film starts at 8pm this evening. The Mystery of the Blue Train is from series 12 of the David Suchet Poirot series - the latest to have been screened - and was premiered on ITV1 on New Year's Day. The cast included James D'Arcy, Georgina Rylance, Jaime Murray, Lindsay Duncan, Nicholas Farrell, Bronagh Gallagher and Elliott Gould with David Suchet. The Mystery of the Blue Train is one of the weakest Poirot novels. However, the Guy Andrews screenplay and the high production standards from director Hettie MacDonald created one of the best Poirot films. Le Train Bleu was a luxury train from Calais to the Côte d'Azur. Hercule Poirot - David Suchet |
