JK Rowling hints that Harry Potter will dieJK Rowling has hinted that Harry Potter might be killed in the seventh and final book in the series. The author revealed that she had rewritten the final chapter of book seven, which she originally wrote in 1990 when she was an unemployed single mother. "The final chapter is hidden away, although it's now changed very slightly," she said in a live interview on British TV. "One character got a reprieve, but I have to say two die that I did not intend to die." When asked whether the characters were "much loved", she replied: "A price has to be paid. We are dealing with pure evil here." JK Rowling had previously explained that she had planned the whole series of seven books right from the start. Ands why would she plan to only write seven books if Harry Potter would still be alive and well at the end of book seven? Book seven will probably be published in 2007. The series of Harry Potter books is estimated to have sold more than 300 million copies worldwide. |

Harry being a Horclux would be a let down
I maybe the only one that feels this way, but if Harry is a Horclux, and I am afraid he probably is one; it will be a huge let down for me, because that is an obvious assumption. Rowling has done a brilliant job of keeping us in suspense and surprising us, that it wouldn't be a big shocker if Harry was the final Horclux. I believe many of us feel that Harry will probably die at the end, but if he has to die, because he is a horclux; and He has to have someone kill him because of it, that will be a shame. I welcome any comments. I would love to hear what people think on this subject.
why HP has to die...
he's a horclux.. parsal tongue, can see into valdemortes mind, he happens to be the last person alive after an attack from voldemorte... makes sense to me. he himself is a horclux is their any argument against this (when the books mention anything to do with this they mention a link through the scar or leave it really vague... a subjective answer rather than an objective one) peace and love... lets here some arguments!
