Prince Harry, the love nest and not much else!

News today that Harry has indeed rented a cottage in Dorset, away from his base at Bovington. It's a no, no apparently.

According to all the tabs (and they should know) the army likes their officers being trained at Bovington to "stay on base". I guess that means Harry's using his position as a prince to break the rules. Funnily enough, that's exactly what the press have concluded.

Really, can anyone blame him for not wanting to stay on base? It wouldn't be the nicest of places to live. Smelly, urine leaking toilets (that's if one can make it to them without finding a less appropriate place to pee ~ see my last blog)....drill sergeants (do they actually exist?) yelling abuse because of some piddly thing or another and making the yellee scrub a parquet floor with a toothbrush (thanks to Hollywood I think I have a skewed view of army life)....having to be woken at dawn to the cheerfully explosive calls of your officer in charge....sleeping in those less than comfortable beds with those itchy blankets and wafer thin pillows.

I know I'd be looking for the creature comforts of a nice cottage elsewhere! Although the thought of watching men walking around in their P.E outfits is appealing enough, I doubt that it would impress me enough to give up my telly, fridge and comfy doona (duvet for the poms in the audience). Back to Harry and the love nest.....

The love nest is located near to the village of Shaggs and is quite near to where Harry is training with those tank thingys (whatever they are). There's woods nearby called Shagg Woods....the mind boggles why it was given that name.

Anyway the point is that at least Harry will be able to spend the last few remaining nights he has with Chelsy before she goes back to South Africa (where by the way they actually do experience hot summers ~ unlike Britain whose current heat wave is a rather cool 36.6c?!?!?).

Let's hope they enjoy the time that they have in peace and be happy in the knowledge that poor old Harry is getting a break from his chaffing army issued blanket!

The anti-Harry media are the curse of the earth..

Maybe that's going a little OTT but the media is to blame for what we or the general public think about people.

Those of us who read loads of Harry things everyday and have learnt to read between the lines, know that he's no saint. But he's certainly not as bad as the press make him out to be.

i wouldn't say Harry escapes

i wouldn't say Harry escapes easily. he's hughely and sometimes and even hypocritically critised. :( the critism he recieves from the press for the stuff he does is more often then not totally overblown.

harry harry every where

its true that harry being one among the royal family breaks almost all rules and excapes easily.just because his grand mom is the queen.hey but could we be frds ?
