The 2008 Super League XIII season has been a classic so far with teams winning matches they really shouldn't and teams losing matches they shouldn't. It has been exciting to watch really and has been one of the only years where you can't really predict who will win!!
Leeds Rhinos started off at the top and looked set to be given the easy route to the Grand Final. St Helens started off very weak and lost a few games they should have won but in recent weeks they have rallied together to hit their peak, just as the Rhinos seem to have hit a wall.
Both teams are now level on points, with St Helens being at the top of the table due to scoring more points per game in total.
In saying that, Catalans Dragons are only a point behind both teams which is a tremendous achievement for the French club.
Wigan are now in the top 6 and could qualify for a play-off place which will see them in with a chance to get to the Grand Final. Warrington Wolves are in 5th place at the moment and have defied all the odds to get there after their Head Coach, Paul Cullen, was sacked due to the lack of winning results not so long ago.
Most of the Super League XIII matches are televised on Sky Sports and I have to say that the best one so far has been Wigan Warriors v Leeds Rhinos which was played on Friday the 4th July. It was a superb game with lots of thrills and spills and was full of twists and turns which resulted in Wigan winning the match 23-22.
Bring on the rest of the season is all I can say!!!

Really enjoying the season
Really enjoying the season with some interesting results; Saints were a few points behind Leeds but put a nice little run together whilst Leeds went on a bit of a slump.
Go Saints!
