Super League XIII Grand Final 2008 - St Helens v Leeds Rhinos 04/10/08The teams who finished first and second place in Super League XIII managed to beat their respective opponents to make it into the Grand Final which will be played on Saturday the 4th October 2008, at Old Trafford. The two heavyweights will battle it out for the last piece of silverware on offer in 2008. Saints are tipped to win after consistant results, and they also beat Leeds in the run up to the final. The Rhinos haven't looked anything like the team they were at the start of the season but form goes out of the window in matches like these. Both teams will be up for the fight and Saints will want to win to prove they are the best and Rhinos will want to win for team honour. Daniel Anderson, St Helens' Head Coach, will leave the club after this match so that is also another insentive for the Lancashire outfit to put in a match winning performance. It should be a great game either way and the atmosphere at these events is always fantastic. Every supporter from every team mingles together to make it a superb day for anyone lucky enough to have got tickets for it. I can't wait to watch it and may the best team win!!
