Saturday 6th September 2008, I had the pleasure of investigating Wymering Manor, Portsmouth.
It's reputedly to be the most haunted house in Hampshire but I've yet to experience anything I'd call paranormal there, but that is not to say it isn't haunted though.
The house dates back to Domesday and was once the property of Edward The Confessor and William The Conqueror. It is also the oldest house in Portsmouth.
It was generally a very quiet night with very little activity picked up although one of the investigators sensed the presence of man on the right stairwell who was not a very nice character.
Another investigator picked up a whistle in one of the rooms upstairs but apart from that, there was nothing else of note.
Despite the quiet night, I'm always looking forward to going back and investigating the house again. It has got so much reported activity such as poltergeist activity, whisperings, 'orbs' and lights, and it's always a privilege to investigate the house.
Night and day
I think I'll restrict my visits to the daytime.
