I used to buy them from a fisherman. They’re 20 kroner or 100 baht each. It’s a whole crab for that price. It used to be 20 kroner, but minus the claws. So nowadays, I buy them from a factory. They are sold in this huge bag or box. Like 10 kilograms. It’s as you like. You can choose small, big, male or female crabs. I ordered them today. This is a male crab. The belly is small. Here. And the claws are pretty big. It’s orange. This one is well-cooked. And it’s orange. If it wasn’t fully cooked, it’d be black. This is the biggest one. Here. This one first. So you can see it clearly. This is the biggest one. It’s my first time seeing one like this. Gigantic. Look at the claws! So big. This is a female crab. A female crab– Here’s a smaller one. It’s so small… in comparison. Female ones have eggs. And the male ones have lots of meat. I mean, the meat inside their claws. But there’s hardly any meat everywhere else. Here’s what I’ve just cut. This is from a female crab. And a male crab’s claw. Let’s begin! I have my own tools. Let’s make a seafood dipping sauce! First, I have this here. My Tupperware chopper. I’m going to add– Chilies. I have to put this first. Red chilies because that’s what I have. If you have bird eye chilies, use them instead. And coriander or coriander roots. 3 cloves of garlic in. Now let’s add some MSG. Sugar. It can be any type of sugar, but it’s great if you have palm sugar. This is chili sauce. Sriracha. Use around 1 tbsp. Lemon. I use 1 lemon. This Tupperware chopper is so easy to use. My chopper. That’s a whole lemon. Add it. Fish sauce. Use equal parts of lemon juice and fish sauce, but I think I used a bit more than lemon. Let’s chop! Here! All done. Let’s try my seafood sauce. I can be a housewife. I don’t force him. I used to have no job or salary, but he takes good care of me. Cooking is not a big deal for me, even though I have an income nowadays. But I want to take care of him more than before. Even if I had nothing, he would take care of me so well. So now that I have my own income, I should take care of him more than before. That’s who I am. He is heavier. Much heavier [than I am]. Crab fat. Next time, I’m only buying males. Female crabs are bad. I can eat the male crabs’ claws. And also crab fat. Sorry about this. I’m not satisfied. What if I do this? Putting rice inside the shell. And then… My gosh! That’s great. If you aren’t used to it, you might feel dizzy. More… crab fat. It’s the best! Yummy. Really yummy. It’s been so long. They’re hard to find. So hard to find them. Legs. There’s meat in the legs too. Not much. Not so much. All that meat from one claw. My gosh! Seeing this makes me so happy. It’s because if we don’t cook them enough, or in a wrong way, the meat sticks to the shell. So I think it’s good that these were cooked for me.
