I wouldn't know which bento to choose. Maybe Satoshi's 🙂

  2. The Boganista says:

LOVED travelling on the shinkansen when we were there in October! Wouldn't travel across Japan any other way! And the ekiben were so good that we would buy more on our way out of Kyoto station to take them home for dinner! My favourite was a fried chicken bento that came with a sansho pepper packet. Yum!!

That looks so delicious!!! I want to try them both. I usually go for a makunouchi bento, the idea it's all from the tokaido is great! But Shinichi's bento looks really tatsy as well.

Haven't traveled on the shinkansen for a while but I always by an ekiben. It is more expensive then the ones you buy in the konbini but sooo worth it!

  27. Goodi2shooz says:

You are so lucky over there to have such nice food for the train. We don't have anything like that where I live and we have to kind of rush around two different places trying to find food for the train, because of the food on the train is expensive and not good

  43. D J says:

I love ekiben! I wish we have great food like that on our railway in Australia

  44. Depression says:

I thought you did the voice-over out of respect for the fellow travelers at first xD

  45. kiwigummies says:

They have this in Taiwan, while I've heard that Japan has many types of train bento in Taiwan the main one is the pork-chop rice.
I'd like to go to Japan and try those bentos on the train too.
Even if the food is just okay, eating a lunchbox on a train makes everything seem tastier. It's a kinda synergy.

  46. ▽SomudaiX▽ says:

I love your videos. I know you are worried about your new job, but you have already been talking about Japan forever, so relax and enjoy your success. Can’t wait.

Satoshi's bento was so interesting! I love that every place in Japan is specialized in some food/ingredient. Great video guys! Yesterday I made your tempura recipe and it was fantastic! So easy and so good! Thanks guys! Love you <3

  51. Don Heil says:

I appreciate your willingness to show us all the places you go and especially the food you eat! This one on a train had to be a bit challenging…things do go wrong. But the voice over gave the feel of a silent movie with voice over…if that makes sense. I though it was great in being different and fun. Making the most of adversity is a big part of making life great. Thanks again.

  52. mblazin1532 says:

LOL the voice over reminds me of when i used to watch the original iron chef in japanese with english dub anyways keep up the good work I love your videos.

  53. Jackie Carranco says:

Eating on the train. Sounds like a great way to travel. Mount Fuji looking majestic as usual. Wonderful choice on the bentos Brothers. I must say they both looked slammin'. Delicious in their own way. Shinichi, Brother, being from the States I think I would rather have your bento. I have never eaten eel and don't know if I would like it. Best to go with a sure thing. Thanks for sharing brothers. See on the next one.

  54. Erin Uber says:
