The Sushi Song

Hi it’s Joan again now that you know the peanut butter and
jelly song you can use the same song and make a new
one with food from any country or culture. So, for example you could make up a song all about how
to make sushi from Japan. First you need to know what the ingredients
are. So, the main ingredients for sushi are first, seaweed. Seaweed is a plant that grows in water and the japanese drive the seaweed into
sheets that look like paper. So the first ingredient is seaweed. Next is rice. So you’re probably familiar with rice
because rice is eaten in many different countries and cultures. The next ingredient is fish. When Japanese make sushi they use fish that
is raw or uncooked. So we’re gonna use raw fish. Next we have soy sauce. Soy sauce is very salty and it’s very tasty with
sushi. So the main ingredients to make sushi are seaweed, rice, raw fish, and soy sauce. Okay now I’m gonna teach you how to make
sushi it’s pretty easy so first you takes some seaweeds and then you take some rice and you spread it, you spread it. Then you take the fish and you lay it, you lay it. Then you take the seaweed and you roll it,
you role it. then you take the maki and you cut it, you cut it. Then, you take the sushi and you dip it in soy sauce. Then you take the sushi and you eat it. you eat it. So now you are ready to sing the maki-sushi song and you can use the same movements as
before so you shake your hands up and put them down. Are you ready? Okay, here we go. Maki maki suhi with soy sauce. Maki maki sushi with soy sauce. First you take the rice and spread it, you spread it, then you take the fish and you lay it, you lay it. Then, you take the seaweed and you roll it, you roll it. Then, you take the maki and you cut it, you cut it. Then you take the sushi and you dip it in soy sauce. Then you take the sushi and you eat it, you eat it. Mmmnn…. Mmmnn….. Did you enjoy it? Well, now you can make up a new song from your country or culture. Maybe if you’re from Peru, you’ll make the ceviche song. Or maybe if you’re from Brazil you can make up a farofa song. Or if you’re from turkey you can make
the hama song. It’s up to you, so I hope you have fun. Make up you song all about your country or culture.
